Adopt
AZI has an assortment of wonderful cats and dogs available for adoption: kittens, cats, puppies, dogs, horses, and mules.
Whether you have a particular animal in mind, or would like to find out which animals would be recommended for you, we ask that you complete an application for adoption. The application is a tool we use to find what you are looking for in a companion animal. Our adoption adviser will get in contact with you with all necessary information.
Come to visit AZI’s center in Amorgos: we will introduce you to all our animals in search of new loving home.

Adoption Process
If you're just at the looking stage, you're welcome to come in and look at the animals during the Center's open hours.
To set up a visit with a particular animal, please complete the application and meet with an adoption advisor.
Adopters must be 18 years or older, have a valid driver's license or ID card or passport, provide payment, and are required to sign the adoption contract.
Recently Adopted
Over 70 animals have been adopted since we started our program. These are a few of their stories:
VIRTUAL ADOPTION
Join the AZI Virtual Adoption Program and you can adopt at distance an animal in our care, creating a unique bond with him or her.
By virtually adopting an animal with a monthly donation, you will provide food, shelter, medications, toys, blankets and care. You can also plan a trip to stunning beautiful Amorgos, in the heart of the mythical Cyclades, and visit AZI's Center to say hello to your chosen pet.
We'll e-mail you regularly their pictures and their story, accompanied by our grateful appreciation for your irreplaceable support.

FOSTER AN ANIMAL
Foster parents provide temporary care for cats, kittens, dogs and puppies in their own homes. Some animals need as little as two weeks of care, while others may need care for few months. You can foster for dogs, cats, momma cats, orphaned kitten and puppies. By offering your time, energy and home to an animal in need, you prepare the animal for adoption into a permanent home. AZI provides all veterinary care and medicine for foster animals and plenty of support to foster parents.
The primary caregiver of a foster animal must be at least 18 years old. AZI will match you with animals that suit your lifestyle.
